Meet Jared & Rob
Meet Jared from JR Captures | Jared, the "J" of JR Captures, is a photographer and videographer based out of Charlotte, NC.
Jared is originally from California but has lived in North Carolina for the past 10 years. He served in the United States Marines and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington after transitioning out of the military.
Jared has been active in the photography and videography business for the past 6 years and, in the past 3 years, has focused on pursuing his passion and expertise in capturing weddings and engagements.
When he isn't working on wedding footage, Jared enjoys landscape & storm-chasing photography/videography.
In 2023, Jared had a wedding of his own where he married the love of his life! He even made sure to capture some footage himself of his beautiful bride on their wedding day! In September, he and his wife, Ashleigh, welcomed a baby girl to the world.
As Jared has been excited to grow his family and career behind the lens, he is eager to see the growth JR Captures wedding photography & videography with his business partner Rob!

Originally from the Outer Banks, he's been living in the Queen City for the past 4 years since graduating from his beloved Florida State University.
Rob’s been capturing life’s moments for 5 years, with a special focus on the magic of weddings and engagements over the past 4 years.
When he’s not behind the lens, he's traveling, perfecting his golf swing, staying active, and sharing good times with friends.
Rob is pumped to witness JR Captures' growth in the wedding videography and photography space alongside his business partner, Jared!
