Jared - Photographer & Filmaker | Co-Founder
Jared is originally from California but has lived in North Carolina for the past 10 years. He served in the United States Marines and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington after transitioning out of the military.
Jared has been active in the photography and videography business for the past 6 years. In the past 4 years, he has focused on capturing weddings and engagements.
When he isn't working on wedding footage, Jared enjoys adventure & storm-chasing photography/videography.
Jared had a wedding of his own where he married the love of his life. He even made sure to capture some footage himself of his beautiful bride on their wedding day! They welcomed a daughter in the fall of 2023 and are expecting a boy in December of 2025.
As Jared has been excited to grow his family and career behind the lens, he is eager to see the growth JR Captures wedding photography & videography with his business partner Rob!
Rob- Filmaker | Co-Founder
Originally from the Outer Banks, he's been living in the Queen City for the past 4 years since graduating from his beloved Florida State University.
Rob’s been capturing life’s moments for 5 years, with a special focus on the magic of weddings and engagements over the past 4 years.
When he’s not behind the lens, he's traveling, perfecting his golf swing, staying active, and sharing good times with friends.
Rob is pumped to witness JR Captures' growth in the wedding videography and photography space alongside his business partner, Jared!

Located in Huntersville, North Carolina, Clayton is a passionate filmmaker and storyteller that is intent on capturing each and every wedding to its fullest potential. With experience shooting well over 100 weddings since 2016, you can be confident that any wedding day he is involved in will be captured with careful attention to detail and beautiful cinematic imagery. He has lived in the Charlotte area since 2022 with his beautiful wife and their two puppy dogs, and is thrilled to be a part of the JR Captures wedding videography team! -

Associate Wedding Photographer
With four years of wedding photography experience, Miranda focuses on capturing the moments that truly matter—the ones that bring back all the feelings every time you look at them. Her approach is all about creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere so couples can be fully present on their big day. Whether it's quiet, intimate glances or full-on dance floor chaos, she’s there to document it all with a warm, storytelling touch.
When she’s not behind the camera, she’s off exploring new places, discovering great food, or spending time with her pup.

Laura first joined JR Captures as a graphic designer, but her role quickly grew into being the team’s go-to for all things marketing and design. You might even spot her at weddings, capturing behind-the-scenes content or lending a helping hand! Outside of work, Laura loves to travel, cook, garden, and spend time with her pups. She’s always up to something creative or adventurous!
